We must be the only people who are sad when it doesn’t rain on holiday! Over the summer, we’d hoped to gather a few more rainy episodes. But the weather was generally disappointingly dry. We had one very very wet day in Derbyshire when the rain sounded amazing across the valley! But we couldn’t record as there were some people out on quad bikes.
All our episodes are made in real places. They are recorded in 3d sound so listening feels like you are there (they are even better with headphones). There are no loops or edits. Just the glorious sound of the rain from that place at that moment.
Summer rain on leaves
